Wuhan City Pavilion and Kindergarten shortlisted for WA Awards for Chinese Architecture

Tsinghua University's World Architecture Magazine recently announced winners of 2023 WAACA awards. Wuhan City Pavilion & Kindergarten designed by ATELIER XI was shortlisted for WA Design Experiment Award. This award aims to recognize projects that have effectively conducted experimental explorations in either conceptual or practical aspects.

WAACA (World Architecture Awards for Chinese Architecture) was established by the World Architecture Magazine in 2002 and is assessed every two years. As a Chinese independent architecture award with important international influence, WAACA has always insisted on exploring, promoting and propagating built works that are closely related to China's national conditions and provide enlightening references to global architectural culture, to promote the creative response of Chinese built space towards people's aspirations for a better life, and increase the world's understanding and respect for Chinese architecture.

由清华大学《世界建筑》杂志主办的2023WA中国建筑奖(WAACA)于近期公布获奖名单,由一树建筑工作室设计的汉口城市展厅及幼儿园荣幸提名WA设计实验奖入围项目。本奖项旨在奖励那些在理念或实践层面卓有成效地开展了实验性探索的项目。

WA中国建筑奖(WAACA)由世界建筑杂志社于2002年设立,每两年评审一次。作为在国际上拥有重要影响力的中国自主建筑奖项,WA中国建筑奖一直坚持发掘、推介、颂扬密切结合中国国情并对全球建筑文化提供启发性参照的建成作品,促进中国建成空间对人民美好生活向往的创造性回应,加深世界对中国建筑的了解与尊重。
